Dear Buyer

Five years ago, we were you. My husband and I scoured real estate websites in search of a place to start our family together. We found our home at 21 South Manning Blvd.

It was love at first sight; we loved the location on one of Albany’s most beautiful boulevards – walking distance to the library, movie theater, grocery store, bank, coffee shops, restaurants, and more. The moment we stepped into 21 South Manning, we knew it was a comfortable place for our family to live and grow. I’m going to miss cooking in the custom kitchen, with ample cherry-wood cabinets, spacious granite countertops, and high-end appliances.

The light in the house is truly unique. We get morning sun in the kitchen and breakfast nook, and we get afternoon sun along the front of the house (family, dining, and living rooms). On the weekends we eat at the bright and airy breakfast bar, and I love hosting dinner parties in the formal dining room. We’ve had many fond memories and laughs with our family and friends over the dining room table.

Many nights we would curl around the fireplace in the living room for games or a movie. When we needed extra space, the finished basement was great to work out, play music loudly (because it’s so well insulated), or just play video games. The unfinished portion has been great for a workshop and storage.

Many nights when it was time for bed, our son would insist on walking up the grand staircase and practice walking in the master bedroom. The master suite with the en-suite full bath has been a real luxury with the heated granite floors. The second floor also has two other bedrooms, and another full bath. On weekends, we like to start up the grill on the patio with friends, while the kids and dogs play on the private yard. I’ve worked hard to nurture and curate the gardens, so we hope you enjoy the many flowers of Spring and Summer. The garage holds two cars, but the long driveway can accommodate up to seven. We’re going to miss our really awesome neighbors, who always would help and even dug us out a few times.

We leave behind many memories and emotions at 21 South Manning, and we hope you can appreciate we’ve left her in better shape than we found her. Please, take good care of her. I know she will be good to you, too. I wish you the same good fortune and love that we’ve known under this roof.

Welcome home.

Sincerely,

Lisa & Family
